\u203b Before proceeding with the school-leaving process, please first log in to the [Graduating Student Service Information Portal]<\/strong>. Access the portal via the University Administration Portal (Applications -> Academic Affairs Systems -> Graduating Student Service System).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u203b Login opens on Tuesday, June 3, 2025<\/strong>. After completing the school-leaving procedures, access to certain campus applications and privileges will be deactivated accordingly. \u203b Please log in using your University Administration account. The English letter in your student ID must be capitalized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u30105 Steps for the School-Leaving Process\u3011<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Step 1: Department Office – Complete departmental school-leaving procedures<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n
  1. Thesis Grade:<\/strong> Confirm that your “Degree Examination Grade” has been submitted to the Office of Academic Affairs (Graduate Student Affairs Division or Gongguan Campus Academic Affairs Division).<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Ensure the “Thesis Approval Signature Form,” signed by the oral defense committee members, is included inside your thesis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  3. Delaying the public release of the printed thesis is only permitted for reasons specified in Article 14 of the University’s “Degree Conferral and Graduate Degree Examination Regulations” (involving confidentiality, patent matters, or legally restricted information). An “Application Form for Delaying Public Release of Theses\/Dissertations” must be filled out and signed by the defense committee and the department chair during the degree examination.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  4. Return all books borrowed from the department.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  5. If your thesis involves a research ethics review, please attach the case closure certificate; if not applicable, this is not required.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    Step 2: Complete the Online Course Evaluation<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Students taking courses in the current semester must complete the course evaluation to inquire about their grades.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    2. Outgoing exchange students must first complete the registration or credit transfer for courses taken during the exchange period.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Step 3: Library – Upload e-thesis \/ Return books & pay fines \/ Submit printed theses (2 copies)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Return all borrowed books and pay any outstanding fines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      2. After the degree examination, finalize your thesis and register it on the university’s “Electronic Theses & Dissertations (ETD) System.” Upload the full-text PDF (no watermarks or encryption required; the library will process this uniformly). The library review takes about 3 working days. Once approved, you can log into the system to download the watermarked e-thesis and the authorization letter.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      3. Submit the printed thesis (2 copies) and the NTNU Thesis Authorization Letter (which must have a barcode and watermark at the top). The authorization letter must be personally signed. Submit one original copy to the library circulation desk, and bind two photocopies respectively behind the title page of each printed thesis.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n
